As. a vetern i am honored when someone offers a discount or even says thank you for your service.
However its hard to accept a discount in honor of my service time on Memorial Day. It just adds to the confusion some have that Memorial Day honors all who served. Veterans Day yes but Memorial Day is for all who gave their lives in defense of their country.

In reply to TammyT. Thank you for yours & your family’s service! I had 3 Uncles who were all in the Special Forces & an Army sister… one of my Uncle lost his life during the Iran Hostage Crisis. He was only 22 when his helicopter went down during the rescue mission. Like you said, let us never forget.
