Jasper Carrott was born Robert Norman Davis on 14th March 1945, and is very
much a world famous comedian, but only in Birmingham, England.
A regular on British TV, Jasper Carrott got his first big break in 1978 with
the TV show "An Audience with Jasper Carrott" and has been a television
regular since that time, most recently hosting the TV game show Golden Balls
until 2009 after which he intends to return to his comedy roots.
