John Howard was born on 26th July 1939 and went on to become the 25th Prime Minister of Australia and its second longest serving Prime Minister after Sir Robert Menzies.

His vision of Australia was as follows: "I want to see an Australian society that sees this country as a unique intersection of Europe, North America and Asia. John Howard lost his seat in the election of 2007, becoming only the second incumbent Prime Minister in Australian history to do so.
