Paul Robinson was born on 15th October 1979 near Hull and joined Leeds United FC when he was sixteen. He left the club following their relegation in 2004 and went on to join Tottenham Hotspur before he was signed by his current club Blackburn Rovers in 2008.

Paul Robinson has the distinction of  having earned more than forty caps for his country but whilst on international duty in Cardiff for the 2006 World Cup qualifier win over Wales his house was burgled. He made his last international appearance the following year in 2007.
