Spencer Tracy, born on
April 5th 1900, was an actor of stage and screen who appeared in 74
films from 1930 to 1967. Unlike many of his contemporaries, Spencer
Tracey did not identify then live within an acting niche, rather he was
a character actor, described as one of the best film actors of his
generation. In 1967 he began
work on what would be his final film, "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner",
co-starring Hepburn and directed by Stanley Kramer, however he died of heart
failure within three weeks of the film's completion.
